Abextra was founded by Kevin Joyce, who has more than 22 years experience in high-tech. With 6 years of computer engineering experience, and 16 years in marketing, he is well equipped to deal with the complexities of high-tech marketing. He has successfully developed, positioned and launched many products and services in roles with Floating Point Systems, as a director of product marketing at Sequent, as a director of sales at IBM, and as vice-president of marketing at Unicru.

Abextra takes a collaborative approach to discovery and resolution of client challenges. We believe that there are periods during the year when clients’ needs for strategic marketing or business savvy resources peak. Abextra strives to fill the need during those periods of peak demand. We prefer to be involved in the planning and in the execution. It’s all about positive results!

Abextra comes from the Latin “Ab extra” which means “from outside”. At Abextra we believe that an outside perspective on strategy, positioning, and marketing messages can be very powerful.
